Installation guide.
-------------------
Before you begin, check that you have:

* minimum: A Pentium 133 ( recommended )
[note: the game will work with a slower computer, but you may
experience lag.]

* Optimal: A Pentium 200 ( For the full Predator experience! )

* A registered copy of Duke3D V 1.3 
( A patch should be available for atomic/plutonium )

This zip file should contain the following:

1). File_id.diz
2). futwar.vfx
3). futwar.bat
4). manual.txt
5). pred.off
6). read me first.txt ( The text you are reading now )

To install:

1. Decompress all contents of the Futurewar.zip file into you Duke3D
directory.

2. At the DOS prompt, type "futwar".

3. Follow the onscreen instructions.

*********IMPORTANT NOTE:**********

Although the installer will back up your original
Duke3D files, it will delete any modified .art files residing in the
duke directory. If you have such files, make shure that you back them
up first.
