Rrr Desktop

Info:

This prog is ideal for people who like keybord shortcuts, want to minimize (hide) some windows in a while, want to control winamp or volume when writing something in a text editor or when playing games, don't like IE's popup windows, ...
Next, you can assign any icon to any directory or drive, transparent text of desktop icons is great, too.
In win9x you can restart windows without reboot - "restart windows" function. Process viewer can kill any process (only in win9x) in a moment and you don't have to wait for hours till windows kills it.
If your mouse has 3 buttons, you can use the middle e.g. for double click, generally, any funtion can be assigned for it. Volume changes in most games do not work if you press a hot key, so use middle button for it. Also winamp can be controlled this way.
New feature in v2.62 is CD speed and spin down.

Usage:

Run RrrDsk.exe and right click the new icon in the tray. Select Options and then Functions tab. You'll see this dialog:

You can assign / change a hot key or assign / change function for mouse in this tab. Select plugin (in the red rectangle on the picture) containing function you want to use. Functions are displayed in the listbox below, every plugin has its own functions.
When you click on a function, the focus is moved to the hot key control (to the left from the listbox), you can type hot key there. Your hot key can contain windows logo key, just check checkbox above. If you want the function to be executed always when rrrdsk starts, check "Run on startup". "Insert into menu Plugins" check inserts function into menu named "Plugins" in the popup menu. Uncheck "Display OSD", if you want to suppress OSD (if available).
The function can be also assigned to middle button, mouse wheel or any type of tray click, just select what you want in the combo box below (in the green rectangle). Then check a combination of ctrl, alt and shift you want and click "Assign selected function" button. That's all.
Confirm all changes by clicking the Apply or OK button.
To execute selected function directly from options dialog box, click the "Run now" button.
