1997-10-12 ================================================================ Title : Daimonos' Arena Filename : daimonos.bsp Author : Mike Mueller Quake alias: : VoodooMun Email Address : mikem@loxinfo.co.th Description : My first DM-level, this is a one-on-one arena-style map. I just wanted to have a map where one can practice and apply vertical aiming and (if so desired) rocket-jumping extensively while at the same time providing fast and smooth gameflow without getting lost in too many, if pretty, corridors. If I get some positive response, you may expect later release of a map for the arena add-on. - 6 respawn points. - only GL, RL and LG (I saw no point in the rest of the armory). - Red and yellow armour. - Quad included (for the fun of it), no pent or invisibility Additional Credits to : ID Software, Ben for creating (and updating!) WC. ================================================================ * Play Information * Single Player : well, you may take a look (jump) around Cooperative : No Deathmatch 2-6 : Yes, but best 1-1 Difficulty Settings : No New Sounds : No New Graphics : No New Music : No Demos Replaced : None * Construction * Base : New level from scratch Editor(s) used : Worldcraft 1.5a-b Known Bugs : none Build Time : some * Other Info * Please send some feedback-mail about what you think of this level. So far the r_speeds read pretty high and I couldn't get them down without removing or completely changing major components. But the gameflow seems pretty smooth, even with four players on my Pentium 100 with 32 MB RAM. Actually, the pace gets real "fast" real soon, and there's no end to it, unless you've had enough fraggin' for one day. Oh yeah, and don't forget the secret door to the right of the GL, may come in useful one time or the other. * Copyright / Permissions stuff * You may use this level for whatever you might wanna do. Just give me some credit for my parts and mail me about it. This BSP may be distributed ONLY over the Internet and/or BBS systems.
