23/10/99 ================================================================ Title : My Brain Died Yesterday Filename : rcdm8.bsp Author : Robert "Fat Controller" Cruickshank Email Address : fatty@planetquake.com Website: : http://www.planetquake.com/fatty/ Description : Three atria clad in Rogue Mayan and Zerstörer black metal trim. When I made this map, it was after fruitless weeks of trying to come up with Big DM Base designs. So I thought, "F*** it! I'll just knock together some atria with a grand spiral linking everything and wing it from there!" The result is a dinky map inspired vaguely by a certain other map that serves 2, maybe 4 maximum. Additional Credits : - Ben Morris for Worldcraft shareware - Dem goofy Qboard folks for all their support, moral or otherwise :) - Vondur, Gonzo and John for testing - Tyrann for his compiling utils and Eternal Dismemberment Complex - Ghandi for Naked3: Naked Cows on Stage, mein inspiration ================================================================ * Play Information * Single Player : No Cooperative : No Deathmatch : 2-3 players, maybe 4. If you find problems, contact me via email at the address above. * Other Info * Originally, this was going to be a Big DM map, made of Q2 brick and concrete. However, all my attempts to get a decent looking test atrium sucked (plenty of nice single storey pods though :) so I gave up for a while. Then I thought about some older maps I still liked, and their basic design, did some doodles and finally snapped. I started slapping brushes down and saying "right, those are floors there". Then I slapped up some more and said "those are walls". Then I smacked a few more around and said "right, that's the ceilings in". Then I stuck a start in and looked around and said "shit this is all right". Then I added more lights and got some testers roped in. Then I pushed and pulled and buggered around until things were right. * Copyright / Permissions * Authors may NOT use this level as a base to build additional levels.
