The weapon load is a bit heavy, featuring 2 RL's, 2 LG's, 2 GL's, a DBSG and a SNG, but I think it works rather nicely. The layout consists of 2 rather close rooms and 1 isolated room that is linked by 3 hallways and a teleport. They look great in software, and shitty in GLQuake. I had made around 5 different sky textures, decided most were shitty, made a bright blue sky that was halfway decent and really fit the theme of the map... and it turns out that on my TNT there are little artifacts that really show up if you have a bright sky. *sigh*. The hell with it, I thought. I finally made a sky texture with a bright first layer and a dark second layer, and although it was better, the "poly gaps" are still quite visible on my TNT. This map is the first that I've done TOTALLY WITHOUT CARVING OR HOLLOWING. In fact, I did not plan a single item on paper like I usually do. And it shows. The map is really varied, layout-wise. Perhaps I will think the layout through next time.
