GL recommended. (ctf, normal quake etc.) Comments : I originally attempted to get a special q1dm level done for last halloween, but sucked at mapping and got tired of the level. I suddenly got the idea again a few days ago and knocked up this thing... How the texture theme worked itself out I'll never know... there's an overall gothic feel to the map with Ogro/dkt demon textures providing the eerieness/evil I wanted to establish for this map. Zerstorer's visceral tendencies also helped quite a bit. As for gameplay, 1on1 is recommended (its not as large-scale as my previous 2 DM maps), although i tried 4-player FFA with the bots and it rocked; play this way if you like your games brutal & action-packed. * Construction * Base : Built from scratch. Layout originally inspired by Peej's Strafin6 Build Time : 3 days Times & stats : System Used : pentium w/ 400mhz & 64mB RAM WQbsp : 33 seconds TyrLight (-extra) : 78 seconds RVis+ (-level 4) : 383 seconds Brushes : 653 Entities : 125 Textures : 30 Texture WAD used: Various: Q3test, Zerstorer, Daikatana, Ogro, Kingpin, rocks from czg07 and a few from ID. Beat that for a combo :) Thanks to all texture artists concerned. Health may be a little low because of this but I didn't notice any major flaws in gameplay. - Find any more?
