Each player is equipped with a different loadout when they "telespawn". There aren't any weapons and ammo laying around the map, so players must scavange those items from dead opponents. There isn't any health or armor to pick up, so even minimal damage adds up quickly. Don't waste ammo, unless you like using the axe. This map isn't about who can pick up all the big guns, stockpile ammo and hog all the health. It's about cunning survival tactics. ================================================================= Installation instructions Ensure you have the REGISTERED version of Quake on your device. Modified files and custom maps will NOT run without the registered version of Quake. Put "xploadzone.bsp" in your "\quake\id1\maps\" folder (create the directory structure if necessary). Make sure you have LOTS of free RAM in order to run the map at a decent framrate. It's amazing how fast a map goes together if you have all the materials. Previous build times of my other maps took weeks, simply because I had to create all the textures. This one was completed in less than a day. It is inspired from an Unreal Tournament mod called "Infiltration". Which basically blows away any currently available game/mod (including CS), simply because of it's unique structure and execution.
