Book: "GAME DESIGN: Secrets Of The Sages") ************* --==* THE STORY *==-- ************* This map is mainly created with DETAIL IN MIND to communicate the feeling of being at a special place in a real world. Don't expect to get a good r_speed, it won't give one. CHQMD is a new deathmatch level for Quake 1. I started to make it in 1997 with very primary version of it. The huge list of Quaker's who are in my ICQ knows that primary level as HOSPIT2.BSP But, HOSPIT2 had some major problem in the main frame of the .map and i rebuilted all from the bottom. (This doesn't help :) In april 1999, i got a new speed connection to internet: Cable Modem. I hosted a server for a month, with the HOSPIT2; most of the time online and busted my upload limit at my provider like a bummer :). That was one of my great moment in the story of this Hospital map ( or better saying, "food services map"). Finally, the hospital level got terminated. But with lots of hours and hard time. I lost a lot of 3-4 hours shots of editing because the version of the editor is 1.0, DEATHMATCH MAKER editor gave on their website a patch 1.1 to corrected the problem with the previous version ( it was not written the leak file if there is one). But the patch for a reason i don't understand, never worked properly.
