New level for Single Player Quake 1 ==================================== Title : For My Babies 8 Filename : fmb8.map Author : Mike Woodham and Tronyn E-mail Address : MikeWoodham@msn.com AND/OR netgames@netdp.com (for Tronyn) Description : Based on Tronyn's Runezig map, this level represent a sort of Metagyptian environment. It abounds with typical Quake monster fights and on 'normal/hard' should give an experienced Quaker about 25 minutes of good quality fraggin'. Less experienced players may wish to start on Easy. Ammunition must be used wisely in Normal (actualy Hard) or else the player will certainly die many horrible deaths! But persevere, game play is tough but fair: there IS enough ammo. Although not designed for Speed Running, I have added a few possibilities for short cuts and trick jumps etc. Let me know if they were worthwhile? Tested in GLQuake with no problems, however, the map is designed specifically for standard Quake at 640 x 400 i.e. chunky graphics.
