----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Title : Three Towers and a Sick Base! Release Date : This version released 26-10-2007 Filename : sickbase3.zip Author : RickyT23 Misc. Author Info : 23, office orchin (ex factory urchin), hard rocker! Really hard, come n ave a go! Email Address : trowbridge.richard@googlemail.com Description : Unlike my previous project Deja Vu, this one comprises of just one map. I would say it is a medium to large layout, with over 180 monsters on normal difficulty, set in a base theme, on the surface a vast and rocky planet inside a volcano. Note: To my experience this map doesnt run on normal GLQuake, I have been using AguirRe's modified version. AguirRe has mentioned that people who have a copy of the mighty W A R P S P A S M - should use the Nehwarp executable to run the map as this fixes the bug with the invincible BOB! - Place the files in the warp directory and run with -heapsize 48000 -quoth -game warp +map sickbase Plot : Youre mission (should you choose to accept it): After returning to earth safely from your last mission, you, a Space-Marine of the highest stature are quickly informed of another code-red situation occurring near to the place from which you had just been extracted. Another faction of Quake harbouring more demons meant your immediate deployment to the area with a new clean-and-sweep mission to be carried out immediately. You would be teleported into an underground tunnel beneath an old millitary outpost, which was built for tactical reasons inside a volcano, your mission: 1 - Execute any members of Quake encountered 2 - Engage any demonic incantations with uptmost prejudice. 3 - Make it safely to the extraction zone at the very top of the facility. Extraction unit will not be deployed until you have made the area safe enough for such a manoeuvre.
