It continues the idea of remaking the orignal map, hence the appearance of a second map, but apart from the theme, this one goes away from Vondur's second map, while trying to keep the vibe. As speedmaps are for experimenting and for fun, i made a SoA and a DoE version of the maps, as i never did one for this expansions before. The changes are bigger than just changing monsters and weapons, so they should be different enough between the versions. ------------------------------------------------------------------- * Installation - Put all the files in /id1/maps - Add the following to the command line to run your Quake engine or create a shorcut to it with this part added (omit the ''): ''+map ''map name'' -skill x'' (where x is 1, 2 or 3) add too to the comndline -game hipnotic or -game rogue for the SoA or the DoE maps - Enjoy the map. ------------------------------------------------------------------- * Thanks - ID software for Quake - Ben Morris for Worldcraft - Valve for Worldcraft 3.3 - Baker for the Qadapter - Bengt Jardrup and MH for their tools - Unreal tournament, Vondur and sm_32 for the inspiration. - All the people at Func_msgboard for their help. - Whoever said at Func that you could clone a brush or an entity in Worldcraft by using the shift key.
