Unpack "bigshamb.mdl" in your quake\id1\progs directory. Unpack "trance.wav" in your quake\id1\sound directory. 1) Installation for OpenGL: You should use "gl_flashblend 1" to see the halos. 2) Installation for the sucky Software Renderer (pah!): This map pushes the renderer to the very max. To prevent the massive greyouts you must set the following commands into your config.cfg and make it write protected. r_maxedges 9000 r_maxsurfs 3000 If you want to run it on a LAN server or just take a peek at it, load quake with -game thunder and type "map vote" in the console to load it. If you want to use this map as a vote map with the ThunderVote 2.2, you have to modify the entities in the map.
