IMPORTANT INFO!:

You MUST have Prelim2 installed before running this patch. Otherwise it will not work.


DESCRIPTION:
------------
    This patch adds skins to some of the weapons, and allows you to take a look at an early 
version of the speeder bike.


INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
--------------------------

Follow the same procedure as when you installed Prelim2. Simply unzip Prelim2a.zip with WinZip, 
and when you are asked if you want to overwrite the existing Prelim2 files, say yes. Then start
Prelim2 as normal, and the changes will be in effect.


CONTROLS:
---------
For now, Star Wars Quake follows the same basic controls of Quake, except in the following 
instances:

- Pressing "v" now switches to the external camera view
- Pressing "0" activates the Impulse 9 cheat to give you all the weapons
- Pressing "/" activates the Speeder Bike
- Pressing the spacebar while on the speeder bike revs the throttle up to full.

Notes: The above controls are in the included .cfg file, edit them to whatever you desire.


KNOWN BUGS:
-----------
**READ THIS!!! READ THIS!!! READ THIS!!!**

- Currently, once you activate the Speeder Bike, you can't get off.

- No weapon effects or sounds for the Speeder Bike yet.

- Number 3 weapon not even being used, disregard until it's replaced.

- The Blaster Pistol is being completely redone, that is why there is no skin for it yet.

- External camera is in a early state, and occasionally gets a little screwy

- Stormtrooper rifle loses the current clip on level_exit

- When switching from the nailgun to the stormtrooper rifle, there's an inexplicable errant frame
  before the "activate" animation plays. We're working on it.

- ISD2 is NOT fully vised. It'll be fixed in the next patch.

NOTES:
------
The speederbike doesn't have any weapon effects yet, but I thought it would be neat to throw it
in anyway for you to try. Try running it through water and jumping off a high ledge with it. It
should kick up some "dust" when it lands, and it will handle differently in the water.
