Grace is a tool to make two-dimensional plots of scientific data. It runs under various (if not all) flavours of UNIX with X11 and Motif. Its capabilities are roughly similar to GUI-based programs like Sigmaplot or Microcal Origin plus script-based tools like gnuplot or Genplot. Its strength lies in the fact that it combines the convenience of a graphical user interface with the power of a scripting language which enables it to do sophisticated calculations or perform automated tasks.
The home of Grace (where sources and documentation can be found) is

As you may have guessed it's the successor to
Xmgr.
Grace 5.0 would be the equivalent to Xmgr 5.0 if the latter would exist :-)
readme.os2
This Grace port is currently on hold. If you like you keep this OS/2 port alive please send a message to the grace mailinglist at grace@plasma-gate.weizmann.ac.il and ask to supply docs in a reasonable format ...
These includes some of the documentation of the original distributions
and of course the binaries. In addition to the xmgrace executable
I added a small help client called
xmhelp
which is a small and very simple HTML-browser!
You should use the starter batch xmgrace1.cmd
which
automatically sets the necessary environment variable to access the help files.
