Introduction
SAASound is a portable Phillips SAA 1099 sound chip emulator, written by Dave Hooper.
This page hosts an updated source package, which removes the few Win32 dependencies, and adds autoconf support to improve portability. It has since been built and tested on:
- Win32 (VC6)
- Linux
- MacOS X (Xcode 2.2 for Universal framework)
- Pocket PC (EVT3, EVC++4)
- DOS (DJGPP)
- Solaris 9
- BeOS R5 (BeIDE)
- QNX RTP 6.x
- Sega Dreamcast
