dreams40:dreams40/DATA Welcome to issue 40 of Dreams from Void! Holy Moses, what a great Amiga intro competition at Revision 2023! So many excellent contributions! Ghostown (this one was my favorite), Nah-Kolor, Finity Games, Cosmic Orbs... all great releases from them, and nice ones from the others too. :-) The demo compo is tonight... I'm very excited to see what it will bring.. Perhaps a new TBL demo? Who knows, only those who delivered contribtions and the organizers I guess. Some of you might know that I previously installed my Amiga 1200 into a transparent, acryllic case from Plexilaser.de. Because of this, I've had to use an external keyboard. Up until now I've used a PS/2 one with the Lyra 3 adapter from Individual Computers. It was a bit of hassle with a PS/2, because I want to share it between the PC and the Amiga. This is why I purchased a SUM USB adapter from Alinea Computer in Germany. So, now I can use a bit more modern keyboards again. :-) The A1200 is still equipped with a Fast-RAM only expansion, so have considered exchanging this for faster one... Time will show... Everything is getting more and more expensive thesedays. One has to think twice before taking the plunge. The Norwegian currency has lost a lot of value too compared to the Euro, GBP, and USB. Buying from abroad is thus much more expensive. Well, well, the Fast-RAM expansion will probably be enough for a while I think.. ;-) Ok, it is time for me to stop writing, but wish you all a good one! See you in the next issue of Dreams!
