Sunlust The Way We Remember It is a 32-map [CITATION NEEDED] megawad where we at Broken Lamp Records made tribute to our favourite iwad,
I mean megawad, Sunlust by Ribbiks and... and... fuck, who was the other guy? fuuuuck. I'm so sorry. I don't remember. fuckkk I'm so sorry.
Anyway, these maps are all faithful recreations of each Sunder map purely from memory, with absolutely no creative liberties taken! However,
our memories are not that great. For instance, we didn't remember what complevel Scythe 2 was, so we just went with the funniest number
we could think of (21). Turns out this number is only 10 off from the actual complevel so we didn't do that bad! These maps are
extremely similar in gameplay and quality [CITATION NEEDED] to the original Speed of Doom, so you know what to expect. We hope you
will enjoy Sunlust The Way Id Did, I mean Sunlust In Name Only, I mean, shit, I mean Sunlust The Way We Remember It, based on Sunlust
by Ribbiks and Et Al. Yeah, that was the other guy! Have funlust!

[To drop the bit: this is a jokewad we've been working on for the past few months, led by me (with help compiling from Christophine
Place.) Some maps here are very high-effort, some low-effort, some playable, some not so much. Skip around and cheat as you please!]

genuinely the best jokemap I'll ever make. I'm so proud of myself for this stupid idea and figuring out
how to execute it. this is my actual pitch for a Sunlust O'Toole show btw. they could make thousands of seasons

by far the project's biggest roadblock to its release. hex took up the slot when we started in March, aiming
to make a moody, atmospheric study of God Machine rather than a jokemap. unfortunately, burnout and other mapping
obligations extended its development over months until I had to take the unfinished map myself in late August to
finish it off. Hex made the highly detailed pre-portal area, the blue laser/ wavy purple sky textures, and the
finale's central tower. I did the finale's perimeter and a lot for the pre-portal gameplay arenas, as well as
the gameplay itself and general polish. it's a labour of love sitting at the bottom of all this bullshit,
we hope you get something out of it.
