===================================================================================
                        BUILDING THE PSX MOVIE PLAYER DISK
===================================================================================

The first thing to do is install CDGEN (run setup from the "DISK1" folder)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Add your movie files (1.str - 4.str) to the "PSPlayer\VIDEO" folder
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Run CDGEN (CD Rom Generator) and click the "directory" button
Select "Edit"/"Put files and directories"
Navigate to the "PSPlayer" folder and add all the first file to the layout.
  NOTE:: A "Warning & Error Message" box will appear, so long as it is empty
         there is no problem!
Repeat this to add all the files and directories in the folder.
In the "VIDEO" directory, highlight the .STR files and click the "File Type"
button (it might be hidding behind the error warning box), select Subheader
file(s) and click OK. !NOTE! if the file was created without audio leave the
file type as "standard"
Add the "LICENSE?.DAT file from the "LICENSE" folder:-
         LICENSEA.DAT - USA
         LICENSEE.DAT - Euro
         LICENSEJ.DAT - Japan
Now Click the "Volume" button, Click "Additional Information"
in the "system area file" type the full path to the license?.dat file
        E.G. C:\adr\license\licensee.dat
and Click "OK"
Now select "File"/"Save" and save your .ccs file as
"image.ccs" in the "MAKEIMG" folder
<you can now close CDGEN>

In the "MAKEIMG" folder doubleclick "MAKEIMG.BAT", this will build an ISO
image [image.bin] for you, then delete unneeded files

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm not sure how many software programs the iso will work with, but since
CDRwin seems to be fairly universal in PSX circles I've written a .cue
file for the iso.

FILE "IMAGE.BIN" BINARY
TRACK 01 MODE2/2352
INDEX 01 00:00:00
POSTGAP 00:02:00

This is saved as "IMAGE.CUE" in the "MAKEIMG" folder, this can be
used to burn the disk.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NOTE for PSone users:

This disk won't boot on a PSone. Use BootEdit to add the PSX.tmd boot logo then
Patch-it to fix the license info:

In the "BootEdit" folder, run bootedit, select the "image.bin" file from
"MAKEIMG" folder and the "PSX.tmd" file from the "BootEdit" folder.
Don't worry about text or license info, Patch-it will fix that.
(BootEdit has a wild guess at the image type - just agree ;)

Now in the "PATCH-IT" folder, run Patch-it, select the image.bin file
and the region license you require.

The disk should now run on a PSX or PSone :o)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Good Luck.
