NOVELL 386 MEMORY COMMANDS FOR MACHINES WITH MORE THAN 16M RAM

The Novell 386 operating system will recognize memory in EISA machines over
16M. However, Novell's default configuration limits the memory being used to
15.7MB.  The table below will the line items to type in AT THE SERVER CONSOLE
to get Novell to use this extra memory.  The more commonly used memory
configurations will be high-lighted.

The command to force Novell to use the extra memory is:

REGISTER MEMORY 1000000 xxxxxxx 

where 1000000 is the starting address in hex (16MB) and xxxxxxx is the AMOUNT
of RAM to add.  The xxxxxxx portion is contained in the table and it is assumed
that you have already typed the command above on the server and are looking up
the amount.
