Lexmark has a new transparency that is exclusively for Optra 4049 printer cartridges. The Lexmark part number is 1402810 (8.5 X 11), and 1402809 (A4). This particular foil will NOT be recommended for 4019, 4029 or 4039 printers. It has been thoroughly tested and approved and shown to provide high quality for the demands of our Optra customers, even with 1200 dpi. These transparencies can be ordered from Supplies, 800-438-2468, for $45 (box of 50). The older IBM transparency, P/N 70X7240, is still the recommended foil for printers other than Optra. Some of our Optra customers may want to stay with the Nashua xf-10, but the new foil should provide better quality on Optra printers. 8. The paper type setting identifies the type of paper (Normal, Rough Paper, Transparency, Labels, or Cardstock) in each paper source. The factory default is Normal. Instructions for setting the paper type can be found in Chapters 3 and 4 of the User's Guide. 9.
