V7-media fx Update 0495.x
==========================

1. Informationen zu diesem Update 0495.x:
-----------------------------------------
   Dieser neue Treibersatz fuer die V7-media fx enthaelt gegenueber Rel. 0694.x
   neue Leistungsmerkmale wie Soundblaster 2.0 Emulation mit verbesserter
   Kompatibilitaet. Diese kommt besonders Spielen wie DOOM II, SimCity 2000
   oder Wing Commander III zu gute.
   Ebenfalls verbessert wurden die Stabilitaet und Qualitaet der Treiber fuer
   Windows. OS/2 Treiber sind im Update noch nicht enthalten. Diese Treiber
   werden im April erwartet.

   Einziger Unterschied zu Rel.0395.x:
   ===================================
   Die Roland Emulation MT32 wurde hinzugefuegt.
   Hinweis zum Download: diese Roland Emulation MT32 ist als MT_32.EXE
   auch einzeln im SPEA BBS verfuegbar: Besitzen Sie also bereits das
   Release 0395.x so ist ein kompletter Download der Software 0495.x also
   nicht notwendig.

2. Welche Software fuer welche V7-media fx?
-------------------------------------------
Die V7-media fx gibt es in zwei unterschiedlichen Varianten.
Die Karten sind untereinander nicht software-kompatibel und benoetigen deshalb
jeweils eigene Software. Um das Risiko der Falschlieferung bei einem Update
zu elimineren, haben wir Ihnen beide Diskettensaetze zur Verfuegung gestellt.
Stellen Sie anhand der untenstehenden Beschreibung fest, welche der zwei
Diskettensaetze Sie fuer Ihre Hardware benoetigen.


V7-media fx - Typ 1:

Software Merkmale:      Audiostation hat Bass- und Hoehenregler
Bisherige Software:     Rel. 1193.1   oder
                        Rel. 1293.2   oder
                        Rel. 0694.1   oder

                        (Files im BBS:  FX104951.EXE und
                                        FX104952.EXE
                         wobei "FX1.." fuer das 1. Layout steht.)

                        (Files im BBS:  FX204951.EXE und
                                        FX204952.EXE

ENGLISH PART:

1. Information about this Update 0495.x:
----------------------------------------
   This new set of drivers for the V7-media fx contains new
   features like Soundblaster 2.0 emulation with enhanced
   compatibility - especially for DOS-based games like DOOM II,
   SimCity 2000 or Wing Commander III. Also the Windows
   drivers have been improved in stability and quality.
   OS/2 drivers are not yet implemented. This drivers will
   be availbale in 04/95.

2. Which software for which V7-media fx?
-----------------------------------------
   The V7-media fx is currently supplied in two different versions, which
   require individual software (i.e. the boards are not software compatible!).
   To eliminate the risk of you receiving the wrong software when updating you
   will find two sets of disks. To find out which disks you should use for your
   board, please refer to the information below.

   Only difference concerning rel.0395.x:
   ======================================
   Roland emulation MT32 has been added.
   Note for downloading: this Roland emulation MT32 is also available
   seperatly as MT_32.EXE in SPEA's BBS: If you already have release 0395.x
   you need not to download the complete software 0495.x.
