TITLE: HP Blade PC Optimization

DESCRIPTION:
Applying this SoftPaq makes the following HP-recommended operating system 
settings for optimal performance in the blade PC environment. 

Power Management:

- "PowerButtonAction" is set to Shutdown so that the power button shuts down 
Windows.

Timeouts:

- "Turn off Monitor" is set to 0 so that the monitor will not go to sleep.
- "Turn off Hard Disks" is set to 15 so that the hard disks power down after 15 
minutes of inactivity.
- "System Standby" is set to 0 so that the computer never goes into Standby 
mode.
- "System Hibernates" is set to 0 so that the computer never hibernates.

Other Settings:

- DMA is turned on for both Drive 0 and Drive 1 storage devices.
- 48bit-LBA (Logical Block Addressing) support is enabled for ATAPI drives 
larger than 137GB.
- For no video ("headless") support a registry key is modified at every reboot 
to prevent compatability issues with 16-bit applications.
- NMI button support is enabled. Instead of giving a "Hardware Error" message, 
the OS will generate a full crash dump and not reboot.
- The screensaver is turned off.
- The "IdleWinStationPoolCount" value is changed from the default of 0 to 4. 
This prevents F5 health monitors from causing hard disk accesses that stop the 
drive from spinning down.
