This Softpaq is used for remote iLO firmware update via the iLO web-based interface, iLO CLP interface or the iLO XML scripting process. New features - 1. Added option to enable High Performance Mouse within the remote console. The High Performance Mouse improves mouse response and synchronization and is supported on ProLiant servers running Microsoft Windows 2003 or Windows 2000 Service Pack 3 or later. For the best performance, run the HP Online Configuration Utility for Windows 2003/2000 with the /mouse option to optimize the server mouse settings and use the remote console (not dual cursor). Note: Disable High Performance Mouse support to use remote console during a SmartStart assisted operating system installation. The High Performance Mouse option can be enabled or disabled via XML scripting using the following command. 2. Support for Firefox 1.0 browser running from Red Hat Enterprise Linux Workstation 3.0 or Novell Linux Desktop. Note: Firefox is very strict when handling website certificates. When using iLO's default self-signed certificate, do not choose "Accept this certificate permanently" on the certificate dialog box. Problems fixed from last release - 1. Updated the iLO Power Regulator feature on ProLiant servers with Intel XEON processors with EM64T technology to correct the problem where the setting will not work until the option is initially set through RBSU. 2. Correctly disable options on iLO Power Regulator web page on servers that do not Support Dynamic Power Regulation. 3. Corrected operation of the oemhp_rcport & oemhp_vmport. Previously, the oemhp_rcport was setting the vmport and vice versa. Documentation - 1. Use the HP Integrated Lights-Out 1.70 User Guide and HP Integrated Lights-Out 1.70 Scripting and Command Line Resource Guide for information about this release. These documents can be found by following the link at: http://h18013.www1.hp.com/products/servers/management/ilo/documentation.html Select manuals under self help resources for a list of product documentation. 2.
