This package creates files that contain a binary image for the System BIOS(ROM) for the listed notebook models with 68BAS Family ROM. This package isused to flash the System ROM on target notebooks on a network, and it requires System Software Manager (SSM). NOTE: To determine the ROM family and ROM date, press F10 on the target notebook during startup to run the Setup Utility, and then viewFile/System Information.IMPORTANT: Users running the Microsoft Windows 98 Operating System must useSSM version 1.62A for remote flashing. Please do NOT use the new SSM version 1.70A if you are running Windows 98. |

HOW TO USE: |
NOTE: To flash the System BIOS on a target notebook in a network, the System BIOS image must be used with SSM. 1. Download the SoftPaq .EXE file to a temporary, empty directory on your hard drive. 2.
