HP iPAQ hx2000 Pocket PC Series Firmware Update |
VERSION: |
1.00 |
DESCRIPTION: |
This package contains an update file that replaces a section of the original system files for the listed handheld models and operating systems. This update is a permanent update to the ROM, and can only be undone by reflashing the entire ROM. IMPORTANT: This update is ONLY for HP iPAQ hx2000 Pocket PC Series devices that are running the Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 Operating System. This update requires a little more than 2 MB of storage space on the handheld. It is important to ensure that enough space is available for the update before beginning the installation, because proceeding without the required storage space causes the handheld to stop responding (lock up) and the firmware update is not installed. If this occurs, the handheld must be reset, an appropriate amount of storage space must be made available, and then this package must be reinstalled. Do not interrupt the handheld while the update is being installed. Doing so may cause the handheld to become inoperable. It is advised that you perform a full back-up of your data prior to starting this update. |
