DESCRIPTION: |
This package creates files that contain the HPQFlash utility and a binary image of the System BIOS (ROM) for the listed notebook models with a 68YAF Family ROM. The HPQFlash utility is used to locally flash the System BIOS on PCs operating in a Microsoft Windows Operating System environment. IMPORTANT: For HP Compaq nw9440 Notebooks, after updating the BIOS to version F.12, the graphics driver should be updated. Download and install SP33214 (or later), "NVIDIA Workstation Graphics Driver," version 84.88 from the HP website. NOTE: To determine the ROM family and ROM date, press F10 on the target notebook during startup to run the Setup Utility, and then view File/System Information. |

PREREQUISITES: |
- For HP Compaq nw9440 Mobile Workstations, updating to the NVIDIA Workstation Graphics Driver version 84.88 (HP SoftPaq Number SP33214 or later) is required to achieve full docking persistence functionality. HP recommends updating the BIOS and graphics driver at the same time. |
