TITLE: Microsoft Fix for Failure to Recognize SATA Drive After Standby

DESCRIPTION:
IMPORTANT: Workstations running Microsoft Windows XP with Service Pack 2 (SP2) 
do not require this fix. 

This package contains a fix for the listed workstation models and operating 
system. The fix is for an issue where after a Microsoft Windows XP workstation 

configured with multiple ATA drives enters the S1 power state, one of the 
following symptoms occurs: 
- Microsoft Windows does not recognize the ATA drives when resuming the 
workstation from Sleep or Standby modes. 
- The following error message is displayed: "Unsafe Removal of Device: You have 
unplugged or ejected a device without stopping it. Unplugging or ejecting 
devices without first stopping them can frequently cause your computer to crash 
and loose valuable data."
- Microsoft Windows may stop responding.

NOTE: This issue does not affect worksations that are using ATA host 
controllers that are configured for Legacy mode operation.
