COMPAQ LCD Display Assistant Readme.txt


   When your flat panel monitor is first attached to a new or different
   computer, or when a new or different display mode is selected for the
   first time, use the Compaq LCD Display Assistant program to improve
   the image quality as necessary.

   The LCD Display Assistant program can be installed on your computer or can be
   executed straight from the TFT5000 software CD.


   To run the LCD Display Assistant program from the TFT5000 CD :
     1. Use Microsoft Windows Explorer to locate the Cpqlcd folder on the software CD.
     2. Select the "CpqLcd.exe" file, then double-click mouse or press the ENTER key to execute.
     3. Follow the step by step instructions.


   Hard drive Installation :
   **For Microsoft Windows 95/98 and NT 4.0, to INSTALL the COMPAQ LCD Display 
     Assistant utility to your hard drive:
     
     1. Click Start -> Run.
     2. In Open edit window, type x:\CPQLCD\Setup\Setup.EXE and press the ENTER 
        key (x is the CD drive letter).
     3. Follow the step by step instructions. 

   **For Microsoft Windows 3.1, Windows for Workgroup 3.11, and NT 3.51, 
     to INSTALL the COMPAQ LCD Display Assistant utility to your hard drive:
     
     1. Click File -> Run.
     2. In Command Line edit window, type x:\CPQLCD\CPQLCD.EXE and press the
        ENTER key (x is the CD drive letter).
     3. Follow the step by step instructions.

  To execute the program from the TFT5000 CD:

   **For Microsoft Windows 95/98 and NT 4.0:

     1. Click Start -> Run.
     2. In Open edit window, type x:\CPQLCD\CPQLCD.EXE and press the ENTER
        key (x is the CD drive letter).
     3. Follow the step by step instructions.

   **For Microsoft Windows 3.1, Windows Workgroup 3.11, and NT 3.51:

     1. Click File -> Run.
     2. In Command Line edit window, type x:\CPQLCD\CPQLCD.EXE and press the
        ENTER key (x is the CD drive letter).
     3. Follow the step by step instructions.
