ULi LAN driver supports ULi M5261/M5263 PCI Fast Ethernet Controller in ULi M1563/M1689/
M1589/M1573 South Bridge. This file contains a variety of informations you should read 
before installing ULi LAN drivers.

1. System requirements
----------------------

Windows 98SE/Me/2K:
  1. Microsoft Windows 98SE/Me/2K or later version.
  2. ULi LAN Driver (ULiLAN.SYS)
  
Windows XP:
  1. Microsoft Windows XP.
  2. ULi LAN Driver (ULiLAN.SYS)

2. Installation Instructions
----------------------------
Windows 98SE/Me/2K:
  1. Install Windows 98SE/Me/2K.
  2. Install ULi LAN Driver
   - run this install program.
   - this program will detect the Windows version automatically
     and modify the registry to load the proper driver.


Windows XP:
  1. Install Windows XP. 
  2. Install ULi LAN Driver
   - run this install program.
   - this program will detect the Windows version automatically
     and modify the registry to load the proper driver.

3. Uninstallation Instructions
------------------------------
All OSes:
  1. Open "Control Panel" folder
  2. Invoke "Add/Remove Programs" icon
  3. Choose "ULi LAN Driver" item 
  4. Click on "Add/Remove" button to remove drivers.

4. Identifying the Drivers Version Number
-----------------------------------------
Windows 98SE/Me:
  The version of the driver can be obtained by querying the driver file's
  properties under File Manager.

  After installation, the following driver are stored as listed.
    <Windows directory>\System\ULiLAN.SYS
  1. Invoke the "Explorer" application.
  2. Select the driver file.
  3. Open the "File" menu.
  4. Click on the "Properties" item.
  5. Click on the "Version" tab.
  6. The driver's version should be listed in the "File version" or "Product 
     Version".

Windows 2000/XP
  Find "Network adapters" category in "System"'s "Device Manager" tab of "Control Panel".
  You can find "ULi PCI Fast Ethernet Controller" device. Click on the "Properties" 
  button, select "Driver" tab, and click on the "Driver Details" button, you can find 
  the driver provider and driver file version.
