OS/2 EE 1.X to OS/2 Version 2.0 No-Charge Upgrade Promotion DESCRIPTION Customers who acquire any release of IBM Operating System/2 (OS/2) Extended Edition Version 1.x before April 24, 1992, can receive at no charge: o Upgrades to IBM OS/2 Version 2.0 o Upgrades to IBM Extended Services with Database Server o "Proof of License for Distributed Feature" certificates for Database Client Application Enablers HIGHLIGHTS Customers will receive: o One complete IBM OS/2 Version 2.0 package containing diskettes and documentation. o One complete IBM OS/2 Extended Services with Database Server for OS/2 package containing diskettes and documentation. o One IBM OS/2 Version 2.0 "Proof of Additional License" certificate and one IBM Extended Services with Database Server for OS/2 "Proof of Additional License" certificate for the balance of the quantity of IBM Extended OS/2 Extended Edition Version 1.X being upgraded. o "Proof of License for Distributed Feature" certificates for Database Client Application Enablers. Certificates received will equal in number the copies of DOS Database Requester Library (DBDRQLIB), up to a maximum of 128 per OS/2 Extended Edition Version 1.x license being upgraded. Customers can also receive one IBM OS/2 Version 2.0 User's Guide at no charge for each IBM OS/2 Version 2.0 "Proof of Additional License" certificate they receive. CRITERIA Customers must acquire this upgrade on or after March 27, 1992, but no later than August 24, 1992.
