PRODIGY USERS NOW CAN ORDER OS/2 2.0 ONLINE

As part of its plan to offer OS/2* Version 2.0 wherever the customer buys,
IBM announced that the one and a half million users of PRODIGY**  service,
a national online information service, now will be able to order IBM's OS/2
2.0 directly from their PRODIGY screens.

PRODIGY users will be able to take advantage of special promotional prices
for OS/2 2.0, available through July 31, 1992.  Current Windows** users can
purchase OS/2 2.0 for $49, DOS users can upgrade to OS/2 2.0 for $99 and
new users can purchase OS/2 2.0 for $139, exclusive of shipping and
handling.  Purchasers may also order OS/2 2.0 via a toll-free number,
1-800-3-IBM-OS2.

To access the OS/2 2.0 advertisement and learn more about the product,
PRODIGY users can -JUMP- OS/2.  After viewing the ad, members can place an
order online which will be electronically transmitted to an IBM order
center.  OS/2 2.0 will be distributed as a single shrink-wrapped package
that will include IBM service and support for both IBM and other PC
manufacturers hardware.
