DiAcoustics' MIDI Renderer V1.1 is a software synthesizer that provides an alternative to sound cards' onboard synthesis. Using your PCs processing capabilities the software converts MIDI files into digital audio WAV files. MIDI Renderer is packaged on CD-ROM with over 200 MB of instrument samples divided between 128 GM-Compatible instruments and GM drum set. MIDI Renderer offers 65,000 voice polyphony and is 128 part multitimbral using DiAcoustic's Channel Instrument Interlacing Technology(TM). This technology allows for more than sixteen instruments to be played simultaneously. Thus MIDI Renderer allows full orchestration capability. MIDI Renderer responds to all 16 MIDI channels and 128 tracks. Given a MIDI file, MIDI Renderer creates a WAV file using 8- or 16-bit fidelity, mono or stereo, at sampling rates between 1 and 100 KHz. This software synthesizer responds to Velocity, Pitch Bend, Channel Pressure, Sustain, Expression, Volume, and Pan MIDI commands. MIDI Renderer also offers multiple synthesis techniques and programmable tuning systems. MIDI Renderer runs under DOS 3.1, Windows 3.0, or OS/2 2.0. It requires a minimum of 2 MB of RAM, 5 MB of hard-disk space, any audio or sound card with WAV file playback capabilities, and a CD-ROM drive. Any questions? Contact me at 74033,2705. Carlos
