Clean & Intuitive Task Bar

The Task Bar is designed to be easily seen and used; a clear status line and hints for every function help keep the DiskJockey clear & simple. Pop-up menus and keyboard shortcuts are also implemented, making the DJ both versatile and intuitive.

Background Music

The DJ's Jukebox plays sound and video files in a background thread. Drag several files and they'll play in sequence. Controls include; restart, play, pause, stop, skip, and volume. It's the easiest way to play a large group of sound files in sequence.

Easiest ZIP/UNZIP

Simply selecting a Zip file changes the Jukebox into the Zip Container. Easily add files to the Zip file by drag and drop. Extract single files from zip archives; view files within zipfiles without unzipping. The DiskJockey makes Zipping & UnZipping a snap!

Powerful Search & Catalog

Ever needed to find all the files that were larger than 100k? or, files created between two dates? The DJ's search facility lets you do these searches and more. Compound searches may be issued using combinations of: file mask, text within file, before date, after date, larger than, and exclusion file mask(s), on a single drive or several drives. After finding the files you can view, copy, move, delete, drag & drop - right from the results list. Then, catalog the results for a quick search later.

Customize Editor & Viewers

Assign different viewers for certain file types  and your own editor - the DJ provides an easy dialog box for customizing.

Disk Cleanup

Find out how much of your disk drive is being wasted by duplicate files. The DJ has a system-wide duplicate file search and clean-up routine that helps you find out! Then mark the duplicates and a single button deletes!
