All four products allow application developers to quickly develop OS/2 graphical user-interface (GUI) programs utilizing a rich selection of GUI programming objects and drag and drop programming. Both VisPro/REXX Gold and Bronze have an improved UI and new features for manipulating window frames. They include a more intelligent event editor, as well as the ability to plug in any editor for editing events. Both include a code template generator that allows users to include their favorite code segments for easy reuse. Graphical push buttons are also supported. VisPro/REXX Gold includes many improvements to the container and notebook objects. The new price of $59 for VisPro/REXX Bronze makes it the lowest-priced OS/2 visual programming tool available. The ability to create small (<100K), stand-alone .EXE program files makes this a very attractive offering. Compatibility with VisPro/REXX Gold and the VisPro/REXX Data Entry Object Pack make it an ideal entry-level product.
