StopLight is suitable for protecting PCs and laptops running DOS, Windows 3.x or Windows95. StopLight requires a valid name and password to gain access to the hard disk. Trustee assignments provide protection for sensitive drives, files and directories. StopLight can prevent software piracy and can allow only authorized programs to run. Its keyboard lock protects against prying eyes, and its secure audit trail reports program usage, data access, and violation attempts. Adjustable user security features include config.sys and autoexec.bat protection, data encryption, DOS Shell and Ctrl-C disable, printer and floppy drive access control, password management, and secure diskettes that are unreadable outside the organization. The security monitor is written in assembler and takes up only 13K of conventional memory. It can automatically load itself completely into upper memory. VirusNet and Drive-In are included to provide powerful virus protection and menuing. StopLight(R) ELS - Entry Level Security for PCs and Laptops ----------------------------------------------------------- The entry level version of StopLight is ideal for securing laptops and stand-alone PCs. It protects the hard disk from unauthorized access and has a keyboard lock and screen saver. Its audit trail tracks program and file activity. Each user on the system can have separate security profiles. Its PC Checkup program provides detailed system information, and can revive hard disks that fail because of boot track viruses and disk corruption. StopLight ELS requires only 13K of conventional memory and can load itself completely into upper memory. StopLight(R) LAN - Network Security System ------------------------------------------ StopLight LAN provides centrally installed and controlled security for network workstations. Protection is available on bootup or network login, securing PCs and diskless workstations. Workstation security is managed from the server by an elegant Windows security console. Full drag and drop capability, along with pop-up menus make security management effortless. On the workstation, StopLight LAN provides hard disk access control, pass-thru login, keyboard lock/screen saver and secure files, directories, floppy drives, and I/O ports. Support is provided for Windows 32-bit Disk and File access. StopLight LAN uses 13K of memory overhead and can be loaded into high memory. All networks are supported, with added functionality included for Novell Netware and NetBIOS-based networks such as IBM LAN Server and NT Advanced Server. StopLight(R) for OS/2 - OS/2 Security with File-Level Protection ---------------------------------------------------------------- StopLight for OS/2 provides maximum security for OS/2 computers. Boot protection prevents unauthorized access to the hard disk. Multiple users, each with custom security profiles provide unlimited flexibility. File, directory and drive level access restrictions, including Read, Write, Create and Delete control, protect sensitive data. Security features are available for PM, OS/2 command-line, OS/2 DOS, Win-OS/2 and dual boot DOS configurations, providing unsurpassed protection. Audit trail, keyboard lock, data encryption and secure floppy drives, serial and parallel ports are also included. LAN Scheduler & Distribution - LANSD(tm) ---------------------------------------- LANSD gives the network administrator unprecedented power and control over software distribution, event scheduling and virus protection. LANSD manages all activity through the Network Console desktop, providing effortless control over several or hundreds of PCs. Workstations can be organized into groups for easy sharing of LANSD profiles. Software distribution installs and maintains files from the network to the workstation or from network to network. Each workstation group can run up to 100 scheduled events, including hard drive backups and virus scans, and one-time network messages. Schedules are centrally defined to run during workstation bootup, network login, or in the background when MS-Windows is started. LANSD manages the details for you, copying required scheduler files and maintaining each workstation's AUTOEXEC.BAT and WIN.INI files. It can automatically install and maintain itself on all workstations in a group. LANSD has been designed to work with all networks that support a DOS client. It is supplied with identical DOS and Windows versions, making it ideal for all your users. Full context-sensitive help, with step-by-step examples, is also provided. VirusNet(tm) ------------ VirusNet provides antivirus protection and disaster recovery for PCs. Its Windows or DOS versions protects against existing and unknown viruses by dual signature, checksum and heuristic scanning. An exclusion list eliminates false alarms associated with checksum scanning. The Rescue feature protects against CMOS and hard disk corruption. Rescue information for workstations and standalone PCs is stored in a central database located on diskette or on the file server. Scheduled scans and automatic workstation updates are provided. A 3K TSR prevents infected programs from being run or copied, and checks floppy disks when they are accessed. Supported platforms include DOS, Windows, Windows NT and OS/2 computers. Network support is included for IBM LAN Server, Novell Netware, Banyan Vines as well as other popular networks. VirusNet LAN(tm) ---------------- VirusNet LAN combines the anti-virus protection of VirusNet with the powerful central managment found in our LAN Scheduler and Distribution system. The result is fully automatic anti-virus protection for several or hundreds of workstations. Just tell VirusNet LAN which files to maintain, how the virus monitor should be configured, and when scans should occur, and its LANAGENT program will install and configure each workstation automatically. When updated scanner files are copied to the LAN, they will be automatically distributed to each workstation. ProfileNet(tm) - Workstation Hardware and Software Inventory ------------------------------------------------------------ ProfileNet identifies workstation hardware and software for inventory control and allows central modification of workstation startup files. It can automatically scan workstations at selectable intervals with inventory data saved to the server. A software database identifies programs and keeps track of software license agreements. New programs and unknown file tracking allow the database to be easily expanded. User information, a full notepad, and a free-form database for each workstation allow related information to be tracked and provide help desk management information. Summary, detailed, and user-defined reports are provided and inventory information can be shared with dBase-compatible programs for custom reporting. Supported platforms include IBM LAN Server, Novell Netware, Banyan Vines, as well as stand-alone PCs. Drive-In(R) & Drive-In LAN - No Memory Overhead Menu System ----------------------------------------------------------- Drive-In provides instant access to programs and DOS commands. Menu choices can be logically grouped, with up to twenty choices per menu and eight menu levels. Drive-In LAN provides shared and private menus, dynamic menu display and no memory overhead. By changing a user's network priviledges, menus will automatically change to reflect the new user rights. There are no scripts or compiler commands to learn. Password protection is available for each menu choice, including "Exit to DOS" and "Program Setup". When a menu choice is selected, you can prompt the user for additional information. File and directory windows assist the user's selection. Drive-In for Windows includes all of the features of the DOS version plus a dynamic toolbar of your most commonly run programs. ================================================================= If you need more information, please contact us at: Safetynet, Inc.
