What This Diskette Does

The Audio Features Diskette enables or updates the audio function
of the following ThinkPad computers:

   - ThinkPad 380, 380D, 385D, 380E, 380ED, 385ED

Installation Guide
------------------
  1. Start OS/2.
  2. Insert the ThinkPad Audio Features Diskette for OS/2 into the
     diskette drive.
  3. Open the OS/2 command prompt and type MINSTALL.  Then
     press Enter.
  4. Select A: for the source drive.
  5. Select Crystal Audio and IBM OPL3 FM MIDI Synthesis
     from the list.  A check mark appears next to the selected items.
  6. Click on Install; then follow the instructions on the screen.
  7. After the installation has completed successfully, restart the
     computer.

Note:
  Make sure that Multimedia Software Support was selected in the
  OS/2 Setup and Installation windows when OS/2 was installed.
  Also make sure that any audio hardware was not selected when OS/2
  was installed; otherwise, OS/2 might detect the SoundBlaster Pro
  as audio hardware and install the wrong software on your
  hard disk drive.

  If error messages appear when you restart OS/2, uninstall the
  multimedia software by using the Selective Uninstall program. If
  you are reinstalling the multimedia software supported by the
  Selective Install program, remove the SoundBlaster Pro from
  Multimedia Device Support in the system configuration window.
