Installation Guide ------------------ If you are reinstalling the display driver in a system that already has an old version of that driver installed, do the following: If not, skip this procedure. 1. Turn on the computer and start OS/2. 2. When a small white box appears in the upper left corner of the screen, press Alt+F1. 3. When the Recovery Choices screen appears: - In Warp Version 3: press V. - In Warp Version 4: press F3. 4. Shut down OS/2 after the VGA driver is installed. 5. Turn off the computer. 1. Turn on the computer and start OS/2. 2. Set the display device to LCD only. 3. Insert the ThinkPad Video Features Diskette IV for OS/2 into the diskette drive. 4. Open an OS/2 window or a full-screen command prompt. 5. Type A: at the command prompt and press Enter. 6. Type INSTALL at the A:\> prompt and press Enter. A:\>INSTALL 7. Follow the instructions on the screen. 8. After the installation is complete, remove the diskette, shut down OS/2, and restart the computer.
