OS/2 2.1 PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPERS' KIT (PDK) AVAILABLE WORLDWIDE

April 15, 1993

The second version of the OS/2 2.1 PDK is now available to qualified
members of the Worldwide Developers Assistance Program.  The PDK is used
to provide developers with beta-level tools needed to develop 32-bit
OS/2 applications.

The intended audience for this PDK is the professional OS/2 developer
with CD ROM experience.  We assume that you have your CD ROM attached
and that you have the necessary device drivers which work under OS/2 2.1
to support your CD ROM drive.  Current CD ROM drives supported by OS/2
2.1 include all IBM CD ROM drives and many industry-standard SCSI CD ROM
drives and adapters.  Additional device drivers are available from
third-party vendors.

Ordering a PDK
--------------
In the Unites States, you must be a member of the Worldwide Developer
Assistance Program to order a PDK; if you are not member, you can enroll
by calling 1-800-3-IBM-OS2.  WorldWide Developer Assistance members must
present their ID# when placing the order.
