AUGUST 4, 1995 CALL FOR BETA SITES WHO: Bar owners, dance-clubs, music production facilities, mobile DJ's, OS/2 hackers. WHAT: Music Manager software TIME: Mid-August through November SUBJECT: TSR Software is currently developing a Music Manager system aimed at the nightclub and mobile-disc jockey. The primary function of the Music Manager software is to catalogue, query, inventory, and maintain large musical databases that can also be accessed via modem or dumb-terminal. Possible Uses: Mobile DJ: Keeps a working schedule of events, maintains music base, quickly query song and album either at the computer or by remote terminal, request lists can suggest new purchases, and much more. Dance Clubs: Same as mobile DJ. Statistics available for requests/playlists. Production: Maintain your inventory. Remote terminal gives public access to your product. Other: People with large music collections. The included/integrated CD player finds and plays your requests. By utilizing the power of OS/2 we have been able to create a multi-media, multi-user product that can assist the entertainment industry with organizing their music and playlists. A similar DOS based program (also created by TSR Software) has been in use for the past four years. This OS/2 version takes the original product far past its DOS limitations. Beta testers should have the following equipment: OS/2 Warp or higher (this product will not run on OS/2 versions below Warp) 8MB RAM minimum MMOS2 installed (for testers interested in multi-media integration) If you are interested in testing this product, please send a personal EMAIL to: 74552,3302 The beta program is open to the general public and will be supported on the OS2AVEN forum starting in mid-August. --END--
