                        Faxing from WIN-OS/2

DESCRIPTION

When trying to fax from FaxWorks for OS/2 in WIN-OS/2, the system just 
beeps; it does not fax the document.

RESOLUTION

Install the IBM Proprinter x24 printer driver in WIN-OS/2.
                                   
1. Select Printers from Control Panel in the WIN-OS/2 Program 
   Manager.                                                   

2. Select Add and then choose the IBM Proprinter X24. 

3. Select Install to install PROPRN24.DRV.                    

4. Insert the Printer Driver Diskette. 

5. If you want this to be your default printer, select 
   Set As Default Printer. 

6. Select Connect and then choose LPT3. 

7. Select Close. 

When you select Print, FaxWorks prompts you for the phone number.
