    Cannot Start LINKUP.EXE when Launching the WebExplorer (Modem) Icon

DESCRIPTION

When launching the WebExplorer (Modem) icon, the following message 
appears:

   Cannot start LINKUP.EXE, make sure the path is 
   correct or you may not have enough memory.

RESOLUTION

1. Open an OS/2 window session. 

2. At the command prompt, type E \CONFIG.SYS, then press Enter.

3. Add the following directory to the LIBPATH= statement:

   C:\IBMI18N\DLL;

   where C: is the drive where OS/2 is installed.

4. Save and Exit the file; then shutdown and restart the system.
