DESCRIPTION

This document describes a work-around for running AutoCAD Versions 12 
and 13 for DOS in OS/2 Warp

RESOLUTION

AutoCAD Version 12
------------------
AutoCAD Version 12 has three levels: C1, C2, and C3. You need C2 or C3 
to run in an OS/2 DOS session. If you have C1, you can obtain a fix 
from AutoDesk that upgrades C1 to C2. Contact your vendor for details.

For optimum performance of AutoCAD under OS/2, make the following 
changes to your OS/2 DOS Full-Screen session settings.

   DOS_FILES              = 50
   DPMI_MEMORY_LIMIT      = 64
   HW_TIMER               = ON
   IDLE_SECONDS           = 60
   IDLE_SENSITIVITY       = 100
   EMS_MEMORY_LIMIT       = 0
   XMS_MEMORY_LIMIT       = 0
   DOS_HIGH               = ON
   DOS_UMB                = ON
   VIDEO_8514A_XGA_IOTRAP = OFF (8514 and XGA video card users)
