         SYS0317 Error Message after FixPak 11 Installation in
                         OS/2 Warp Fullpack

DESCRIPTION

After installing FixPak 11 in OS/2 Warp Fullpack, the following error 
message is received when trying to copy files to drive A with more than 
1 KB of extended attributes:

   SYS0317: The system cannot find message 32799
   in message file oso001.msg.

RESOLUTION

Note: This procedure is for Micro Channel systems.

1. At a command prompt, type E CONFIG.SYS and press Enter to edit the
   CONFIG.SYS file.

2. Change: BASEDEV=IBM2FLPY.ADD
   To:     REM IBM2FLPY.ADD

3. Change: BASEDEV=IBM1FLPY.ADD
   To:     IBM1FLPY.ADD /MCA

4. Save and exit the file; then copy the files again.

5. Restart the system to activate the changes.
