RESOLUTION The /DBUFF parameter ensures that the user buffer for direct memory access (DMA) operations is available to an ISA bus by duplicating the buffer below the 16 MB boundary. Specify this parameter when your computer has more than 16 MB of physical memory and uses ISA SCSI host adapters. If this parameter is not specified, system performance might be reduced if the user buffer resides above the 16 MB boundary. This parameter has no effect on a computer with less than 16 MB of physical memory. warp4 ______________________________________________________________________ IBM disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including without limitation, warranties of fitness and merchantability with respect to the information in this document.
