      Internal Processing Error (IPE) in OS/2 2.1 and OS/2 Warp

DESCRIPTION

In OS/2 2.1, the following IPE occurs on line 1162, file 7019:

   THE SYSTEM DETECTED AN INTERNAL PROCESSING
   ERROR AT LOCATION ## 0160 : FFFBABBC - 000D : 00064BBC
      1162 , 7019
      048600b4

In OS/2 Warp, the following IPE occurs on line 1163, file 7019:

   THE SYSTEM DETECTED AN INTERNAL PROCESSING
   ERROR AT LOCATION ## 0160 : FFFBA0FC - 000D:000680FC
      1163 , 7019
      048600b4

The error usually appears after a reinstallation or after editing the 
CONFIG.SYS file.

RESOLUTION

Note: Make sure you have a backup of any file you intend to change.

This error can be caused by having duplicate statements in the 
CONFIG.SYS file.

Edit the CONFIG.SYS and remove any duplicate statements, or replace the 
existing CONFIG.SYS file with the backup of the original one in the 
OS2\INSTALL directory.
