OSINABIO - PROBLEMS WITH INSTALLATION OF OS/2 2.1 OR OS/2 2.11 ON PS/2 9576 AND 9577 MODELS 02/08/96 ======================================================================= Problems with Installation of OS/2 2.1 or OS/2 2.11 on PS/2 9576 and 9577 Models ======================================================================= Please Read Entire Document for Full Explanation of Procedures -------------------------------------------------------------- DESCRIPTION * Installation on IBM PS/2 9576i, 9576s, 9577i, and 9577s, Models XUX, XNX, or XTX might fail if the ABIOS.SYS file, and all other files with a .BIO extension, were not updated on the OS/2 Installation Diskette. * When installation is by a Configuration, Installation and Distribution (CID) process, the system IML partition is overwritten or destroyed if the FDISK /DELETE:ALL command is used.
