After the device drivers are loaded, the screen clears with no cursor pointer. The drive A light remains on. You can see the list of device drivers by restarting the system and then pressing Alt+F2 when the rectangular box appears in the upper-left corner. RESOLUTION Change the CD-ROM jumper for SCSI type I. For example, an NEC 3XI CD-ROM, which is a SCSI II device, is connected to a Future Domain 1680, a SCSI I device.
