Backpack CD-ROM Not Found on ThinkPad 755CE

DESCRIPTION

The following error occurs during OS/2 Warp 4 installation: 

OS/2 Warp CD-ROM not found.  

The system does not load the BPCDOS2.ADD driver.

RESOLUTION

1. Restart the system with the OS/2 Warp 4 Installation Diskette in  
   drive A:, inserting Diskettes 1 and 2 when prompted.

2. Press F3 at the Easy/Advanced screen to go to a command prompt.

3. Type TEDIT A:\CONFIG.SYS, then press Enter.

4. Press Esc, then scroll through the file to find the 
   BASEDEV=BPCDOS2.ADD
   statement. Move this line to the beginning of the BASEDEV statements.

5. Save and close the file, then shutdown and restart the system.
