                  Compaq's LS-120 Diskette Drive Incompatible with OS/2

DESCRIPTION


On a Compaq Deskpro system with a Compaq LS-120 diskette drive, you may 
get the error  "OS/2 is unable to operate hard disk or diskette drive"
on diskette 1 of installation.

Compaq Technical Support has stated that the LS-120 diskette drive is 
incompatible with OS/2.


RESOLUTION

Use a different diskette drive or pursue the compatibility issue with 
Compaq.
