RESOLUTION There is an incompatibility problem between Promise's latest BIOS, version 1.14, and OS/2. To avoid the problem, you can either: 1. Disable the BIOS on the Promise adapter. (Refer to the documentation that comes with the adapter for instructions on how to do this.) or, 2. Back-level the BIOS to version 1.13; this version corrects the problem. Contact Promise to obtain version 1.13, at 408-452-1180, or on the World Wide Web at http://www.promise.com. ______________________________________________________________________ IBM disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including without limitation, warranties of fitness and merchantability with respect to the information in this document.
